How to Get Free Traffic to Your Website by Jonathon Vanden Berg

I think that this is well typed and well said.

1. Drop Cards- Drop cards are little cards that are normally the size of a business card. On these cards you just put a little grabber sentence and a link to your website. Ex: Do You Want To Work From Home? Do You Want To Make Over $10,000/ Month? Now You Can!

2. Drop Flyers- Drop flyers are similar to drop cards they just are a little bigger and include some more information. These would have a headline, some bullet points, a quick paragraph, and your URL.

You want to "Drop" these everywhere you go. Parks, Recreation, Salons, Healthclubs, Gas Stations, Bus Stops, Checkouts, Laudromats, Etc. Now a days, everyone is behind there computer trying to get free traffic online. That's great, don't get me wrong, I do it too. However, so are millions of other people everyday. Get out, get some fresh air, and minimize your competition.

3. You Tube- You can make a video on You Tube about whatever it is you are promoting. You don't even have to be on the video. You can go to places like Camtasia (Google it), to get software to do screen captures, power points, etc. Then you can sort the videos on You Tube by View Point, to help come up with a way to get your videos to the top.

4. Articles- You can create articles like this one. Come up with some information on the topics you are promoting, and write an article. It doesn't take long, and it can be viewed thousands of times. You can go to Ezine Articles online, to write and submit articles. And its Free to join.

5. Digg- You can go to Digg.com to submit articles for people to see. When people like it, they click "Digg It". The more "Diggs" you get, the higher you rank. It's an online site that is free to join, and millions of people use it everyday.

6. Classifieds- You can post in classifieds all over the internet. Depending on what you are trying to get traffic to. You can do this for free in most places, so don't pay unless you think it's worth it. You can use Craigslist, Kijiji, US Free Ads, etc.

7. Social Networking Sites- This seems like an obvious choice but it is neglected consistently. When it's not, people usually go about it the wrong way. The have pay-per-click ads on the sides, or banners across the top, etc. Don't get me wrong, these forms of marketing are good and work if used correctly. Although, this is about Free Traffic. If you join Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. You can join for free and make posts throughout the day. Don't overwhelm people or you will seem like a spammer, then people won't pay any attention. Start by saying "Hello" to everyone one time. Then, put up a link to a picture or video you like. And do something like this several times. That way, people will see your posts and like what you have to say. This will encourage them to continue to read your posts. If you make a sales pitch on your first try, you just lost them all. After several posts, then put up a post that questions your site. Ex: Have you seen this? These people offer dog food for half of the price other people do. Has anyone tried this. I was thinking about ordering today. Here is the link http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com/ Let me know what you think.

You just can't get enough free traffifc. So get creative with your marketing, and I wish you the best.
